Eventorio is a discord application that allows you to create and manage events in your discord server. This guide will help you get started with Eventorio.
Installation
To install Eventorio, you need to invite the bot to your server. You can do this by clicking here (opens in a new tab).
Set a timezone
This step is crucial for the bot to work correctly and schedule events based on your server timezone.
Once you have invited the bot to your server, you can start setting up the bot. The first thing you need to do is to select your server timezone. You can do this by running the /setup timezone command.
If you don't set the timezone, the bot will use the default timezone (UTC).
/setup timezoneSet an Event Manager role
It is recommended to set an Event Manager role. This role will allow users with this role to manage events in your server. You can set the Event Manager role using the /setup eventmanagerrole command.
/setup eventmanagerroleThis will open a timezone selection menu where you can select your server timezone using the dropdown menu.
If you don't set the Event Manager role, only users with Administrator permission can manage events.
